Police in Kisoro are investigating circumstances under which a 73 year old man died.
It is alleged that Jackson Mukungu a resident of Buhayo village, Nyakinama subcounty in Kisoro district on 28th/5/2023 spent the whole day in company of his son drinking local brew known as Mkomboti and waragi at Kiseke trading Centre
According to Kigezi Police Spokesperson, Elly Maate the deceased later bought Pork and informed his son that he was going to prepare a meal which he didn’t.
Maate says the deceased didnt prepare food on reaching his home where he stays alone but instead returned to the same trading center and continued drinking more waragi.
That today the 29/05/2023, the son Habimana Vincent received information that his father was lying in the middle of Kamonyi Nyetete road in Bugwene village.
He reported to police, scene was visited and documented, and body taken to Kisoro hospital mortuary for Postmortem.
