He allegedly started complaining of headache Thursday evening prompting his colleague to accompany him to a health facility for medication.

This report was Friday afternoon confirmed by Busoga North Regional Police Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Michael Kasadha.

“However today (Friday June 30, 2023) at around 4:00am some friend called and informed the police authorities that Nuwagaba’s condition had deteriorated,” said Kasadha.

“A police officer Kintu at the rank of Superintendent of Police rushed to go and take him [Nuwagaba] to a health facility but he died as they got him out of the house,” he added.

Police, according to Kasadha has opened a Death Enquiry File (DEF 006/2023), visited the scene and managed to obtain evidential exhibits.

Nuwagaba’s body is also conveyed to Mulago National referral hospital mortuary for postmortem pending further investigations.
