Livingston Kitimbo aka Bontwe is nursing serious injuries after being attacked by panga-wielding thugs.
It is alleged that Bontwe who is a presenter at Lubas road based City FM in Jinja City was hacked by the unknown assailants at 5:30am when he was preparing to go for work.
He is Presenter of Simbula show which starts 06:00am – 9:00am alongside Winnie Alifuna Switzo and Richard Kirya Omuwulu.
Bontwe who stays in a rented room in Bugembe was attacked as he got out of his house to go for the radio program.
The intention of the attack is not yet clear.
This attack comes a hardly a week after the death of former Presenter of Baba TV Rogers Kifubangabo who was murdered from the same locality of Bugembe.
In the recent past there has been increased cases of insecurity in Jinja suburbs including Bugembe, Namulesa, Mpumudde and Walukuba.
