A man has cut the head, legs and hands of another after getting his wife red-handed cheating on him with the victim in their marital bed.
The incident happened at Omururinda village, Kamuganguzi sub county in Kabale district Monday evening.
The 30-year-old James Rwakatarira was killed by 28-year-old Ambrose Tumwekwase both residents of Omururinda village.
It’s alleged that the deceased has been in love with Vian Niwamanya – the wife to Tumwekwase since 2022 and the latter has has been tracking them.
On Monday at around 8:00pm, Tumwekwase found Rwakatarira in his (Tumwekwase)’s bed in an act of love with his wife and cut him with a panga to death.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson Elly Maate confirmed this report Tuesday morning.
Maate condemed both the murder the entering into someone’s bed to use his wife from there.
“We have arrested the cheating wife and the hunt for her husband is ongoing. He should have used the local authorities to apprehend him rather than murder. But also I condemn the act of entering someone’s bed to sleep with his wife. It is very dangerious,” said Maate.
