The Luuka North Member of Parliament, Hon Luke Kyobe Inhensiko has launched the distribution of hoes to households in his constituency.
Launching the exercise of distributing the hoes at Ikumbya village in Bukoona sub-county, Luuka district, this week, Kyobe said he was determined to ensure that all his 2021 campaign promises are met.
He added that the donation is aimed at boosting Parish Development Model in his constituency.
Kyobe said that this will be a continuous project until he covers the entire constituency and he asked the beneficiaries not to sell the hoes, instead use them to improve on agriculture in their families.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to us, said the hoes would boost their income generation at household level.
