The traffick department of police is looking for the official driver of motor vehicle Registration Number UG 0302L to answer charges related to improper overtaking.
The vehicle belongs to the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development.
The driver of the said Government vehicle was on Monday September 25, 2023 morning captured overtaking a queue of vehicles at Kyaliwajjala a Kampala suburb.
“The driver is charged with CARELESS DRIVING or INCONSIDERATE USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE under C/S 119 of the Traffic and Road Safety Act 2020. The vehicle is blacklisted, and the driver must report to Namugongo Police Station,” reads in a statement posted by police in their X platform.
