National Unity Platform has joined other political parties, individuals and Corporate companies to contribute Cash for the forthcoming Busoga Royal Wedding.
A team of officials led by the Party President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, Deputy Opposition Chief Whip Manjeri Kyebakuttika, Deputy Party Spokesperson Alex Mufumbiro and Busoga based Comedian Swengere paid a courtesy call at the home of Busoga Premier Dr Joseph Muvawala where they handed their contribution to the Premier.
In photos making rounds on social Media, the NUP team is seen handing the yet to be disclosed amount of money contained in the brown envelope.
Later NUP Principal took it to his social media handle where he posted about his visit to Kingdom premier.
“I have called on the Prime Minister of Busoga Kingdom Dr Joseph Muvawala to hand over our contribution towards Preparation for the Kingdom’s forthcoming Royal Wedding”

The Busoga Royal Wedding has received a lot of support from different stakeholders and on Friday last week, over 1Bn is said to have been contributed at the Royal Banquet which was held at Kololo Independence grounds.
