It is not the first time Juma Toola, a clinical officer is Jinja is caught in criminal and unethical acts.
Toola who is currently detained at Buwenge Central Police Station for extorting 750,000 from a hernia patient before he would operate on him was also arrested and detained at the same police station in February last year for allegedly raping a 20-year-old patient.

It is alleged that the patient had gone for a dilation and curettage procedure after suffering a miscarriage when the clinical officer raped her during a medical examination.
This crime was confirmed by Kiira regional police surgeon, Vincent Masinde who examined the patient whose identity we have concealed.
In his report, afande Masinde confirmed that the victim had indeed been sexually abused.
The suspect was however released on police bond before he could be produced in court although police had said he would be prosecuted.
It is allaged that his release was as a result of the victim stopping to follow up on the matter.
How it happened
According to available information, Toola allegedy committed the rape crime on January 30, 2023 at Buwenge health center inside his examination room.
The victim said then that, Toola locked her up inside the examination room, held her mouth, and raped her repeatedly.
After rapping her, Toola reportedly dumped the victim in the maternity ward and fled from the hospital. She was helped by well-wishers who rushed her to Buwenge central police station to report the case.
