Residents of Ntinda zone in Njeru municipality Buikwe district raise unanswered questions of how their colleague, Difasi Karisa, a 104-year-old still lives a healthier and shining life.

The ageing man sparked off silent debates during the launch of Difrika Country Resort, a funs and accommodating place, constructed and named after the lively man of God.

Karisa who was for decades a staff of Nile Breweries, has no any medical challenges despite his weaknesses and outdating bone muscles.

“We decided to construct this Resort in memory of our father although he is still alive and living a healthy life,” says Hajjat Jowelia Kyozaire, a daughter of the old man.

Kyozaire, a United States of America (USA) based Ugandan who has spearheaded the construction of Difrika, underscores the interesting life of her father, highlighting that the regular hard works have helped him to gain strength.

The old man at 90 years was still digging and slashing his compound.

“We are modifying dreams of this old man that investment should be located in the village and of course he is our priority as children,” she noted.

She adds that Karisa, who has during his old times flied to foreign countries such as USA, United Kingdom and France, in only being disturbed and challenged with “nature” which weakening his body.

Reverand Canon Robert Kiwanuka Mulinde, the Archdeacon of Nakibizi Archdeaconry elaborated the importance of recognizing and celebrating the efforts and lives of parents, who significantly contribute to children’s excellences.

Rev. Kiwanuka while leading the prayer mass seeking divinity to grace the vibrant resort, asked the Almighty God to open eyes of individuals to set-up initiatives that help other people in communities.

“Many people have got a lot of money but they are really blind. They can never make any project that could help their families neither community members. God should give such people light to utilize their resources and help others,” highlighted the clergyman.

According to Ali Suman Walakira, the chairperson of Ntinda zone, the important life of the shining old man has created relevant transformations of the area.

He preaches patience and transparency amongst people especially the youths as the core factors that have aided the living of Karisa.
