Hardly a day after Probation Police Constable Mercy Alowo killed her husband Prison Warder Lance Corporal Wilfred Okoli, security personnel has gruesomely murdered his spouse.
Corporal Andebo Collins attached to Military Police shot dead his wife Pellone Aturinda.
According to Deputy Spokesperson of UPDF Col. Deo Akiiki gruesome incident happened Tuesday Morning at the duo’s home in Lutaka Makindye Division.
“Cpl Andebo was deployed to guard Hon Kibuule [Ronald the former state minister for water] where he left his position early to commit the murder by shooting” he said.
Akiiki says after shooting the wife in both arms cpl Andebo also short himself in the mouth and died instantly.
“Unfortunately Pellone also later succumbed to her wounds”.
He said UPDF and Police have started investigating the matter to establish the cause of the incident.
He however, says preliminary information indicate that the two have lived with marital misunderstandings for long despite attempts by the leaders to create harmony.
