List Of Top Most Paid Judiciary Officials And Why Kisambira Was Arrested

Since it came out that Stanley Kasambira, a driver with the judiciary was planning to ‘kill’ his boss in an intended accident, there has been an unanswered question posed by Ugandans. People have been asking that, but how much exactly do these judiciary officers earn?

The Eye Media shall never disappoint you. Here below we publish the salary structures for the judiciary for the current financial year.

A judge of the High Court, like the one Kisambira was driving gets a monthly pay of Shs. 22.5m. This means they earn Shs 270m per annum. Their driver shall earn the same amount of money in 100 years.

Well as factors like level of education and experience are used in determining salaries, the drivers too are affected by the rising cost of living – buy things from the same shops with their bosses and have children in school.

5. Justice of the Court of Appeal Shs 23m
6. Justice of the High Court Shs 22.5m
7. Chief Registrar Shs 20m
8. Registrar 13.8m
9. Deputy Registrar Shs 12.5m
10. Assistant Registrar Shs 10.5m
11. Chief Magistrate Shs. 9.8m
12. Senior Principal. Magistrate Grade One Shs 8.59m
13. Principal Magistrate Grade One Shs 6.5m
14. Senior Magistrate Grade One Shs 5.6
15. Senior Principal Magistrate Grade II Shs 5.6m
16. Grade One Magistrate Shs shs 5.2m
17. Principal Magistrate Grade II Shs 5.2m
18. Senior Magistrate Grade II Shs 3.5m
19. Grade II Magistrate Shs 3m

A judiciary driver who earns 235,000 per month got into trouble for allegdly complaining about his salary and threatening to ‘kill’ in a planned accident his boss, a High Court Judge who earns Shs 22.5m.
