President Yoweri Museveni on Tuesday May 09th lectured to police officers from the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) on the importance of peace and a crime free society, according to a tweet on his official Twitter account.
Museveni told the officers that if there is crime and insecurity, investors cannot come here because the cost of doing business would be very high.
He also lauded the police leadership for alwsys listening to his counsel.
“In my lecture to police officers from the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) this afternoon, I underscored the importance of having peace and a crime free society if we are to achieve social economic transformation.

I thank the Police authorities for listening to my advice to continuously train their officers. They should always do their work, keeping in mind the ideology of the NRM that is anchored on 4 principles: Patriotism, Pan-Africanism, Social Economic Transformation and Democracy,” reads the tweet.
