A man in his 30s suspected to have been involved in the murder of a 38-year-old woman was on Wednesday lynched by an angry mob before dumping his body in the nearby bush.
The police have identified the deceased as Jackson Hakizimana a resident Gahiza village, Buhoozi parish, Busanza sub-county in Kisoro district.

Kesiime, a 38-year resident of the same village.
Kesiime went missing from home on the Saturday last week only to discover her lifeless body dumped in a garden yesterday morning.
“When she went missing, a case was reported at Kisoro police station.
Search was conducted and today morning, Wednesday, May 10th, her body was recovered from the nearby garden of beans decomposing due injury sustained on the neck,” Regional police spokesperson, Elly Maate told us Wednesday evening.
“But while [our police team was] at the scene of Kansiime that is when information was received that one of the suspect Jackson Hakizimana who was on run was seen and lynched by the mob,” Maate added.
Police also visited the scene where Hakizimana’s badly wounded body was lying.
Both bodies were taken to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem as the hunt for the suspects continue.
Police say are determined to apprehend whoever investigations shall point a finger at in either of the incidents.
