Police is hunting for a heartless woman alleged to have forced her stepdaughter to eat her own faeces.
The wanted woman appears in viral video speaking lusoga as she orders the juvenile to eat faeces.
According to Police spokesperson Fred Enanga, the act is “one of the most infamous and inhumane forms of child abuse.”
Enanga says the police is Greater Busoga is therefore tasked to find where the woman stays such that she is apprehended.
He added that efforts to locate the minor for rescue and emergency protective shelter have been intensified.
Enanga also believes that there may be other extreme forms of abuse and neglect that the victim has suffered, causing her significant physical, mental, and emotional pain.
He urged anyone with information about the suspect, victim, or the location of the incident to share it with the nearest police or LC1 chairperson.
The statement was made during a joint security briefing held at the Police headquarters in Naguru on Monday, May 15, 2023 where Enanga addressed journalists.
He emphasised that the Police strongly opposes all forms of child abuse and is conducting a thorough search for the perpetrator.
