Police in Nansana are investigating the disappearance of two children who have also been very close friends.
The two are Congolese who were staying in Kazinga Village, Wskiso Subcounty, Wakiso District as refugees.
Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Luke Owoyesigyire has confirmed this report.
The two missing children are close friends and aged 13.
Owoyesigyire has ifentifed the two as Vianney Mukisa and Israel Congole also known as Lucky.
“We have been looking for them since April 27, when they both went missing,” said Owoyesigyire.
The two close friends were pupils at Umea Primary School in Wakiso. They disappeared when together.
“The Nansana Police Division, in collaboration with relevant authorities and community members, is diligently working to locate and ensure the safe return of Vianney Mukisa and Congole Israel,” Owoyesigyire adds.
