There was chaos erupted in the National Assembly of Kenya on Thursday afternoon as Speaker, Moses Wetangula was making a ruling on the de-whipping of nominated MP Sabina Chege as the Deputy Minority Whip.
Wetangula had initially said that Chege could not be ousted from the position following a petition filed in court.
The ruling angered Azimio One Kenya Coalition-affiliated MPs who began shouting down the speaker.

The scuffle led to the speaker ordering the removal of MPs Millie Odhiambo and Rosa Buyu from the chambers.
They declined to leave the chambers as their colleagues protected them.
This forced Wetangula to suspend the session.
Last week, the Azimio la Umoja coalition announced that it has settled on appointing Embakasi West MP Mark Mwenje as the new National Assembly deputy minority whip to replace Sabina Chege.
