Pope Francis on Sunday June 18, 2023 based in Rome and prayed for the students of Lhubiriha SS in Kasese district who were killed in a brutal attack by rebels attribited to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).
Encouraging everyone to “pray for peace,” Pope Francis at his first Sunday Angelus since being released from Rome’s Gemelli Hospital turned his thoughts to the young students.
The Pope asked everyone to pray for peace wherever there is tension and war.
