A female passenger and a motorcyclist have died after the motorbike on which they were riding collided with a speeding car along Kamuli – Kayunga road in the eastern district of Kamuli.
Eyewitnesses said the victims who were riding on a Bajaj Boxer UEM 410K towards the side of Kayunga crashed into an oncoming Toyota Hiace Registration No. UAW 286K.
Michael Kasadha, the Busoga North Regional Police Spokesperson confirmed the incident and said it occured around 1:30pm Monday July 24, 2023 in Mbulamuti Town council.
He identified the victims as John, resident of Buwenge and his passenger, Sharon Namwase.
“The bodies have have been taken to Kamuli general hospital motuary pending postmortem and the vehicles and motorcycle parked at CPS Kamuli as invesgigations go on,” he said Monday evening.
