A 26-year-old primary school teacher has been arrested for allegedly defiling his 6-year-old learner.
Joshua Wandegeya, a teacher of English language and Mathematics at White Rose Junior School, Mafubira in Jinja city, was arrested by police officers from Jinja Central Police Station on Thursday August 3, 2023.
Mr. Wandegeya was caught red-handed molesting the minor whose particulars we have concealed.
The Eye Media has established that Mr. Wandegeya is related to the owner of the private school.
Statistics at Jinja CPS indicate a rise in cases of defilement in the last two years.
