Police in Jinja is holding the Nakaseke District Fisheries Officer, Edmond Mpaata on alleged kidnap.
Mpaata was picked up by detetectives from Jinja Central Police Station alongside his witchdoctor, Sunday Gesa Joseph within Jinja city.
It is alleged that the duo wrongfully confined unidentified person who was later on Friday found dead and dumped near Busoga College Mwiri, in Jinja City.
Police sources say, the witchdoctor confessed to the crimes in his statement Monday afternoon and said they jointly committed the offences with his boss, the District Fisheries Officer.
The motive of the crimes is not yet established but the body was found with deep cuts.
