Police in Buwenge sub-county, Jinja district have in custody a 45 year old man for luring and defiling his neighbour’s 12-year-old daughter in his rented house.
The suspect has been identified as Sefatia Kiregeya a peasant and resident of Muwangi Bulumba village.
Kiregeya was picked up by the detectives from Buwenge Police Station on August 21,2023.
A source at Buwenge Police Station where Kiregeya is detained told the Eye Media that the girl he defiled has always been doing house chores like cleaning, washing and ironing clothes for him and he could give her some money.
