In-laws were Friday August 25, 2023 left mesmerised when Social Media handler at one if the biggest radio stations in Jinja turned for an introduction ceremony in a hijab-like Kanzu.
The medium sized but sluggish speaker whose Christian name is John Bosco was among the entourage that escorted Kiira FM staff, Abel Mawanda for his introduction ceremony in Bugembe on Friday.
Formerly an employee of Kiira FM, JB as he us fondly called, rarely attends functions but it seems Abel Mawanda was his good friend during his stay at the City Hotel based station.
A close friend to John Bosco has revealed that he could have just borrowed the kanzu from a tall friend since his wardrobe seems not be having the traditional attire. JB is fond of dressing smartly on suits and can easily be mistaken for a district councilor.
The extra large kanzu turned to a nightmare for John bosco during a ceremonial dance when the man from Wankole wanted to pull out rare dance strokes but couldn’t because of the oversized attire.
He almost fell down courtesy of the kanzu but he was supported by one of the babes from the flower girls at the function.
This is not the first time a media person is showing up in over sized kanzu. It once happened during Paul Isabirye’s (of BBS TV) introduction when NTV’s Godfrey Masiko and Bukedde TV Buikwe reporter, Emmanuel Balukusa appeared in oversized Kanzus which shocked in-laws in Mukono.
