There is a video that is spreading as fast as wild fire in which Rt Hon Anita confessed to Pope Francis that she is pregnant.
Hon Among just returned from Italy, where she met Pope Francis for the second time in just under one year. But before she landed, the video clip came ahead of her.
According to the leaked clip, the Speaker told Pope Francis about her pregnancy. It is rumoured that the clip which has gone viral was recorded on Friday August 25, 2023 in Rome.
“I am also pregnant, I want you to bless my baby,” Speaker Among can be heard in the video beseeching His Holiness through an interpreter.
Pope Francis then proceeds to bless her with a sign of the cross on her visibly bulging belly. She smirks with joy.
Born in November 1973 in modern-day Bukedea District, Speaker Among quickly short threw political ranks over the past decade, rising from a little-known opposition FDC mobiliser to House Speaker.
Among recently introduced her new husband and fellow MP Moses Hassim Magogo to her parents in a traditional marriage ceremony.
She has one known child with Patrick Baguma Atenyi, an FDC official.
