The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Najjanankumbi faction Secretary General, Nathan Nandala Mafabi has scoffed at the Eria Lukwago-led faction whose base is along Katonga road, saying they are illegal and therefore they shall be crashed.
Mafabi who was Friday October 6, 2023 addressing reporters at Patidar Samaj Sports Grounds in Lugogo, Kampala, said the Najjanankumbi based faction is the only FDC recognized by government.
In fact Nandala has even warned that if Lukwago and his group want to storm Najjanankumbi, they should be ready for death.
“Let them sign their wills before they come. Nobody is going to play with FDC, and I want to tell Lukwago, let him be at the forefront, and I will show him who I am,” said Nandala.
Nandala also warned the Katonga faction to stop with immediate effect calling themselves FDC.
“Katonga is a place for activism. I want to inform the people of Uganda that after today’s conference, we intend to address those who are using our name in Katonga as FDC. FDC is based in Najjanankumbi, and we have offices at the district, sub-county, parish, and village levels,” he said.
