This week, former NBS FM 89.4 staff now stationed at Busoga One 90.6, Resty Nanteza aka Nakapachu unmasked the Nizam road based media empire when she narrated the rot eating up the once Busoga’s biggest media center live in her Ensi Eno program.
As usual, armed with evidence of her audios, the Eye Media Uganda released the story and promised more details. As you read this, there is a lengthy written dozier making rounds on social media whose source is believed to be another disgruntled NBS FM staff or at least one of those who left recently.
the dozier which has not yet been refuted by the NBS FM talks about the witchcraft, intrigue, selfishness, infighting and envy eating up the radio station which everyone has been priding in.

Why Nakapachu, Esther Mirembe & Allen Kabindi are at loggerhead
As you read this, you must have been brought to the attention of the audios recorded off the popular program dubbed “Ensi Eno” that airs daily (Monday-Thursday) on 90.6 Busoga One Fm. In the audio circulation, Nakapachu is heard telling off both Mrs.Allen Kabindi, the Chief Executive Officer nbs Group and Esther Mirembe, the current-troubled nbs fm Station Manager to leave her be and stop fighting her since she left their struggling empire in peace.
Genesis: According to insiders at Nizam Road, Esther Mirembe has struggled to secure and guarantee herself in any of the famous radio programs on nbs fm. She was in the flagship program “Bukyeire”, where she had bad blood with her co-presenters namely; Mulwanyi Daudi, Uncle Meddy and Mzee Mudoofu, then she was transferred to Evening Drive to co-present with Lubowa Kyemba who used his PD authority and sacked her thus briefly settling in “Wekalangule” but all in these programs she was a non-performer. O the other hand, Nakapachu through her “Ensi Nebyaayo” program was each year being ranked as the best and overall performer beating Lubowa Kyemba and she received several appraisals from Hon.Nathan Igeme Nabeta ranging from Dollars, Certificates and most importantly salary increments. When Dr.Hamuza Mbago who owns some shares in nbs fm was appointed as the Managing Director during the time Hon.Igeme was the chairman UBC Board, Esther Mirembe saw an opportunity to climb ladders at Nizam Road and it’s believed her recent Bachelor of Mass Communication from Kampala University Jinja Branch and her fully furnished house in Walukuba East all are Dr.Hamuza Mbagos’ sweats save the fact that they are in marriage. Dr.Mbago, was strapped off powers after a political wing headed by both Jinja longtime News Reporter, Wycliff Offwono and former Political Assistant to Hon.Nabeta “Paatu” ran to the Jinja East ‘Baby face’ to report that Dr.Mbago was in plans to change the ownership of the radio since he (Dr.Mbago) has started telling pals that he is owner of the station thus annoying Nabeta and his closest group of opportunists who thought that their ground political tool for Hon.Nabeta was going to another direction.
Hon.Igeme basing on rumours indirectly sacked Dr.Mbago after he placed him with an Indian whose role was unknown for the six months he rotated at Nizam Road. From that scenario, Dr.Mbago vowed never to step at Nizam Road throughout his life.
Allen Kabindi as CEO
When, Hon.Nabeta got drunk in love after hooking up with Mrs.Kabindi in Washington DC, he transferred all the powers of Attorney to her and rumors had already reached Nizam Road how a female CEO of the group was soon to be unveiled. Esther Mirembe immediately like most of women to secure her job, frequently stated hitting Hon.Nabetas’ spire road based hotel Ci-Sand Suits to get filled with information about the incoming CEO (Kabindi) since she used to rest at the place twice in a week and it’s where she fed her with all the obstacles for her to drive the company to heaven, naming her fellow employees who had made riches out of the company; Lwanga David(General Manager), Resty Nakapachu , Mzee Mudoofu, Mbajjwe Rogers, Micheal Muwanguzi (Then Station Manager) Hajji Nkendembi(Then Operations manager) among others, this prompted Mrs.Allen Kabindi to come in with a biased mind towards the above list hence her new policy of each presenter to pay for his or her adverts on air yet then station manager, Micheal Muwanguzi had lobbied a futile ground for all presenters to advertise their businesses free of charge though he reserved the authority for sanctions. This policy annoyed many of them who had their adverts scrapped off on air but when they interfaced with Mrs.Kabindi, she reported that Esther Mirembe told her how they were suffocating the station with illegal businesses.
Micheal Muwanguzi Journey to Germany
Many of you still ask why a humbled and educated Station Manager in the names of Micheal Muwanguzi “Uncle Micheal” was shown exit while in Bayern Munich, here is the story.
Sources say, Micheal Muwanguzi got a deal with a DW Academie, a Germany reknown Media Agency to pay everything for his journey to Germany for one month vacation and since Muwanguzi has a sister in Dortmund, he accepted and called for a staff members meeting where he announced Esther Mirembe as his care taker but also promised to be active online for those who could access social media. Esther Mirembes’ name still was agreed at Ci-Sand Suits where she ably lobbied to replace Micheal Muwanguzi. Many Presenters like Lubowa Kyemba protested her appointment saying she was inexperienced but it was kind of a directive.Majority wanted at least Meddy Dhakaba (Uncle Meddy) to take up the mantle since he had ever steered well the administrative role but Micheal Muwanguzi feared for his position since Uncle Meddy had just returned from Bugembe based radio station, 87.7 Baba fm and was looking for a clear safe landing.
During Micheal Muwanguzi’s stay in Germany, Esther Mirembe called for an immediate Presenters meeting and listed out unquestionably, harsh and strong policies; No reading News on air without her signature, No any advert, DJ mention or announcement on air without her consent, this disorganized the whole station especially during times of her absence.
Worst of it, Esther Mirembe grabbed a book where radio talkshows are booked and took it to Mrs.Allen Kabindi to show how Micheal Muwanguzi swindled several late night herbal talkshows since their respective receipts couldn’t be tressed. As it’s said “Man treasure where he get Money”, an angry Kabindi in few days announced Esther Mirembe as now the a substantive Station Manager hence the end of Micheal Muwanguzi in nbs fm Station Manager role. But, many Presenters particularly, Lubowa Kyemba approached Hon.Igeme and advised him not to humiliate Micheal Muwanguzi hence he retained his Smart fm Station Manager job.But before this, when Micheal returned, Esther Mirembe ordered the driver not to give Micheal Muwanguzi the company vehicle since he had no powers now unless he gets permission from her office. Muwanguzi as a city born, organized himself to acquire a bland new black Voxwagen to ease his evening time movements.
Power Struggle
Esther Mirembes’ inexperienced managerial roles and always unsecure in office has created alot of power Struggle at Nizam Road. Shamir Byakika left to Baba fm after they allegedly quarrelled in their presenters meeting when he questioned why Esther Mirembe was behind the “Beat Serwanyi Down” campaign in Buwunga-Bugiri by fronting a NUP district councillor, Muwanika Sadam.They verbally exchanged and this prompted Lubowa Kyemba to release tears for the ill direction Esther Mirembe was taking the station they have worked for tirelessly.
