Shock engulfed residents of Sharamuka village, Kamusayi parish, Bumbo town council in Namisindwa district when meat chocked to death a man at his in-law’s home Saturday October 21, 2023 afternoon.
The deceased has been indentified as 35-year-old
Ronald Sikoboi.
Sikoboi reportedly visited his sister, Merida Muyama and was given food with meat but while he was eating, it chocked him.
During the process, his sister and brother in law boxed him in the chest with the intention of forcing the piece of meat out in vain.
The piece of meat refused to come and he was rushed to Magale health center III where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Alfred Lusabe, the LCI chairperson of Sharamuka village confirmed the incident saying that the body of Sikoboi is at his ancestral home.
