Delton bar and lodge located in Katwe zone in Bugembe, Jinja city is under spotlight for allowing an environment where Paul Mwanje, suspect facing aggravated defilement has purportedly been defiling his biological daughter from.
The owner of the facility, Ronald Lyavala is on the run, workers have deserted the place.
Kiira region police spokesperson, James Mubi told The Eye Media Publication Tuesday February 13, 2024 that the police visited the scene of crime and found a receptionist identified as Prossy Naziwa, 20 who said she doesn’t know the whereabouts of his boss since the news of father allegedly defiling his daughter from the said lodge became viral on social media.
“Prossy is being detained on charges of being an accessory before the commission of the crime because in her capacity as a receptionist she is supposed to know better that minors are not allowed to engage in illegal sex from such places,” said Mubi.
“Efforts to have the owner apprehended are ongoing and Delton bar and lodge will serve as an example to the rest of proprietors and workers who are failing to protect children who are being sexually abused,” he added.
It’s alleged that, Paul Mwanje has been luring his dsughter with chapati to turn her into his wife leaving his other two young boys with the option of eating porridge without or little sugar.
