Kiira regional police command housing Jinja city and district has scheduled a tentative period for the interviews of the successful applicants for Probationer Police Constables (PPCs).
SP James Mubi, the regional police spokesperson, told The Eye Media on Thursday May 2, 2024, that the interviews that were recently postponed are now slated for Friday, May 10, 2024, at Jinja National Agricultural Showgrounds.
Police encourage the candidates to confirm their names at the regional police headquarters and the three policing divisions of Jinja Central, Buwenge, and Kakira before the designated date for interviews.
He said; “The interviews will include the following: physical fitness test, written and oral tests and medical examination. Candidates should be at the venue by 7:00am that day.”
The officer emphasises that successful candidates must be in possession of their original national identity cards and original academic documents on the D-Day.
“You must possess a national identity card and original academic documents,” he said before noting that the exercise is purely free of charge.
