The LGBTQ community is reportedly undecided on who to financially support between Mr Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi and the feminist Winnie Byanyima.
Bobi Wine, on January 3, 2024, fled the country to the USA, allegedly to convince and attract the attention of his LGBTQ donors to maintain the favour.
The Getto Gladiator and leader of the opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) is unsettled with the proclamations of the Byanyima that she would run for presidency in the anticipated 2026 Uganda National elections.
Byanyima, who is the darling wife to Uganda’s four-time presidential candidate, Dr Kiiza Besigye, in December 2023, declared her presidential bid.
In a viral video clip that trended the entire Christmas, the vocal and self-reliant Byanyima vowed to cause a fundamental change Uganda has never experienced.
Byanyima’s statement triggered Bobi to seek an affirmative action from his foreign funders, specifically the gays in fear that they would turn their love to the renowned advocate for homosexuals, Byanyima.
In fact, she would attract funders given the fact that she previously served as the executive director of Oxfam International and now UNAIDS.
Allegations show that Hipop Star would remain dumped after he couldn’t control his NUP lawmakers from supporting the Anti-gay bill in Anita Annet Among 11th Parliament.
The contreversial deal puts the ex opposition leader Besigye in a puzzling moment of whom to supprt as Byanyima is his spouse while Bobi is his longtime buddy.
