She had this rare ability to connect with people from all backgrounds. Her calm demeanor, combined with her passionate drive to uplift others, made her a beacon of hope in this community.”
Trevor Solomon Baleke, the Deputy RDC of Kayunga and Nabukalu’s friend described her a genuine friend.
“Her smile was genuine. She never pretended or wished others bad. She loved guiding and lifting others,” said Baleke.
Another close friend, Hassan Muwanguzi, who had worked alongside Nabukalu in various community projects, described her as a person with an unshakable commitment to the NRM. “Nusura was an incredible mobilizer. She didn’t just talk the talk; she walked the walk. Whenever there was a challenge, she was always the first one to step up and bring people together, whether it was for a political cause or for the welfare of the people. Her loss is a blow not just to her family but to the entire NRM.”
Family members, including her younger brother, Salim Lutaaya, also expressed their deep grief. “I have lost a sister, a mentor, and a friend,” he said, his voice choked with emotion. “Nusura was always there for me, offering guidance and support.
