Isebantu Kyabazinga of Busoga, His Royal Highness William Gabula Nadiope IV, has praised the Kingdom’s Second Deputy Prime Minister, Noor Osman, for his invaluable contributions to Busoga.
The Kyabazinga acknowledged Osman’s pivotal role in connecting the Kingdom with sponsors and influential allies, which has significantly bolstered Busoga’s development efforts.
In a video clip circulating widely and obtained by The Eye Media, the Kyabazinga expresses his gratitude, emphasizing that Busoga’s progress would not have been possible without the dedication and expertise of committed leaders like Osman.
“When I ascended the throne, Busoga faced numerous challenges,” the Kyabazinga said. “However, with the good-hearted and focused leadership of individuals like Noor Osman, the Kingdom is now thriving. He has brought us many sponsors and friends.”
He further encouraged Osman to remain steadfast and continue his efforts to elevate Busoga to greater heights. The King also called on his subjects to uphold unity, stressing that collective effort is essential for the Kingdom’s progress.
The Kyabazinga’s remarks come amidst ongoing debates. Recently, Uganda’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Rebecca Kadaga, criticized some of Busoga’s ministers, suggesting that certain individuals did not deserve their positions because they had not actively supported Gabula’s ascension to the throne. Among the names she mentioned was of Noor Osman.
Despite these controversies, the Kyabazinga’s acknowledgment of Noor Osman’s contributions serves as a testament to the value of dedication and visionary leadership in the Kingdom’s growth.
