Huawei Technologies Uganda, a global giant in ICT infrastructure and smart devices, has announced the official rollout of its 2025 Campus Recruitment Program, aimed at empowering final-year students and fresh graduates to become key players in Uganda’s digital transformation journey.
Set to take place on Tuesday, July 2, 2025, at Kyambogo University’s Central Teaching Facility starting 10:00 AM, the event is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from institutions across Uganda.
With the bold theme “The Sky Is the Limit” and the inspiring slogan “A Better U for a Better Uganda,” the program seeks to identify top talent in diverse academic fields including Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, Procurement & Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Administration, and Public Management.
Speaking about the initiative, Huawei officials emphasized that the recruitment program goes beyond job placement—it is designed to equip young professionals with hands-on skills, industry mentorship, and exposure to global best practices.
“We are not just offering jobs—we are creating future ICT leaders. Uganda’s youth hold the key to unlocking the country’s digital economy,” a Huawei spokesperson said.

Participants will also get a chance to explore Huawei’s flagship talent empowerment projects including the Huawei ICT Competition, Seeds for the Future, and the Huawei DigiTruck—all aimed at promoting sustainability, gender equity, and rural digital inclusion.
