The announcement was made today during the 100th FUFA General Assembly held in Hoima, where delegates unanimously backed Magogo for a historic fourth term.
Magogo, who also serves as Budiope East Member of Parliament, has steered Ugandan football for over a decade, overseeing key reforms, infrastructural developments, and increased international participation for the national teams.
“It is a great honour to serve and to continue this journey of transformation for Ugandan football. The future is bright,” Magogo said in his brief acceptance speech, pledging to build on the successes of his past terms.
The football chief’s re-election comes at a time when FUFA is marking 100 years of existence, a milestone Magogo described as a “symbol of resilience and football heritage.”

Supporters and stakeholders from across the country have since sent in messages of congratulations, praising Magogo’s strategic leadership and commitment to the beautiful game.
His new term will run until 2029.
