Gulu Chief Magistrate, Said Barigye Monday afternoon discharged Kwania Deputy Resident District Commissioner, Jacob Jonga from Gulu main prison.
Jonga was arreatdd on June 26, 2023 on charges of assault and was subsequently remanded to Gulu main prison.
His friends and colleagues, have however been engaging Jillian Akulu, the RDC of Alebtong whom he allegedly assaulted – pleading for forgiveness.
Prior to his discharge, Akullu and Jonga held talks in the presence of other colleagues and friends where they reconciled.
Jonga who has served as Deputy RDC for over 5 years promised to work on his temper.
