President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has Monday August 21, 2023 signed nine (9) bills into law.
According to a statement released by the Presidential Press Unit (PPU), the nine bills assented to, by the President are:
1. The National Sports Act, 2023
2. The Stamp Duty (Amendment) Act, 2023
3. The Foreign Exchange (Amendment) Act, 2023
4. The Value Added Tax (Amendment) No. 2) Act, 2023
5. The Excise Duty (Amendment) (No.2) Act, 2023
6. The financial Institutions (Amendment) Act, 2023
7. The income Tax (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 2023
8. The Income Tax (Amendment) Act, 2023
9. The Tax Procedures Code (Amendment) Act, 2023
