There is pressure among the people of Busoga this Thursday September, 7 2023 afternoon after Katukiro of Obwa Kyabazinga bwa Busoga, Dr Joseph N Muvawala announcing that he shall make an historical announcement to Busoga today at 4:00pm.
The announcement which he posted on his × (Twitter) handle has left the public, espcailly abasoga speculating as everyone wants to guess the big story. In fact some individuals and media houses has made their guess already.
In the their 1:00pm news anchored by veteran Betty Byuma, Busoga One guessed that the prime mister could be coming to announce his resignation.
But The Eye Media has reliably established that Obusoga has finally got inhebantu (Busoga Queen – wife to Kyabazinga).
The announcement shall bring to an end the misuse of the title Inhaife or maama wa Busoga as this title is meant for the official wife of the Kyabazinga.
An insider has intimated go us that already, the King is being introduced to the Queen’s parents in the family of Mzee Mwanja in Mayuge district as we publish this story.
