Hon Diana Mutasingwa, born in 1990 to Charles Mutasingwa and Grace Mutasingwa in Njeru Municipality, Buikwe District, has rapidly ascended the ranks of Ugandan politics to become a formidable force in her district and beyond. From her early beginnings as a mayoral candidate for Njeru Municipality in 2018 to her current roles as the Woman Member of Parliament for Buikwe District and the State Minister in the Office of the Vice President, Mutasingwa’s journey is a testament to her dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the people she serves.
Diana Mutasingwa’s political career began in earnest in 2018 when she contested for the mayorship of Njeru Municipality. Although she did not win, her campaign laid the groundwork for her future success. Undeterred by the setback, Mutasingwa continued to engage with her community, focusing on issues that mattered most to them.
