Busuulwa was among the 1,524 graduates who were conferred degrees during UCU’s 26th graduation ceremony held at the main campus in Mukono.
With over a decade in media, Busuulwa’s academic journey now includes a Diploma in Journalism and Media Studies from the International Institute of Business and Media Studies (IIBMS), a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Ndejje University, and now, a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication from UCU.

He has previously served at multiple media outlets including Top Radio and TV, owned by Pastor Jackson Senyonga, where he rose through the ranks from reporter to General Manager.
Currently, he is the force behind “Amaaso ku Ggwanga,” a hard-hitting political talk show that airs every Thursday at 8PM on BBS Terefayina.

Speaking shortly after receiving his award, Busuulwa was full of gratitude.
“I thank God for this achievement. It’s not by my power or might but by the grace of God. I appreciate all persons who have supported me in different ways, because I couldn’t manage alone,” he said.
The graduation was presided over by the UCU Chancellor and Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, His Grace Samuel Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu.
