After implementing the deployment of Police Dogs in all districts and regions over the past five months, the police have achieved remarkable success nationwide, says spokesperson Fred Enanga.
Enange in a statement released Tuesday evening lauded the Commandant Canine Unit, dog handlers, training team, and breeding team in Nagalama for what he described as unwavering dedication and hard work.
“Together, they have demonstrated the invaluable role that Police dogs play in law enforcement, ranging from general-purpose Police dogs to specialized canines trained in cash detection, explosives detection, narcotics detection, and more,” Enanga says.
Enanga who also ruged the public to always preserve the scenes of crime, highlighted that services provided by the Police Dogs are entirely free.
