Speaker of Parliament, Annet Anita Among has said many of our cabit ministers shall miss some plenary and cabit sittings because they are infected with the deadly Covid-19.
Among made the shocking revelation on Thursday, May 18, 2023, while chairing the plenary session.
The Speaker thus warned the MPs to take care of themselves in order to remain safe.
“I want you to be mindful that Covid is back and some Cabinet members may not be able to attend because they tested positive but the rest,” she said.
Among made it clear that she had barred the infected ministers from attending plenary.
“I have told not to appear because I don’t want my members to be infected,” Among told legislators on Thursday.
