Police in Jinja have taken to Jinja hospital mortuary a body of a yet to be identified man, stabbed and dumped near Nakanyonyi Primary School in Bugembe, a suburb of Jinja city.
One officer has told us on condition of anonymity that the body has deep cuts on the head especially in the face, and that the nose is chopped off.
The body was found lying in a pool of blood Saturday morning June 24, 2023 by passersby who tipped the police.
This same week – on Monday actually, former Baba TV presenter, Rogers Kifubangabo was founded murdered by unknown assailants in the same Bugembe area.
The unknown murderers used the same method of cutting with machetes.
In the course of the week, police arrested 110 suspected criminals with the hope of reducing on criminal activities especially murder and theft.
