Police in Kanungu have two men in custody for alleged murder after stabbing a 19-year-old man identified as Stuart Agaba.
Agaba’s killers stabbed him with knives on Sunday June 4, 2023 night around 11:00pm from his village, Nkumbagara cell, Nyakatunguru ward, Kihihi town council.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson, Elly Maate identified the suspects as Richard Muhwezi (35) and Martin Kanyesizye (36) both residents of Bugongo cell, Nyakatunguru ward, Kihihi town council.
It’s alleged that while the deceased was moving with Brian Ainebyona, was attacked by Richard Muhwezi for unknown reasons, stabbed him with a knife on the left upper rib, penetrating into the heart.
Agaba was rushed to Kigezi clinic in Kihihi where he died on arrival.
