A 30-year-old woman was in the last week of July 2023 allegedly stabbed to death by househelp.
The victim, Rahab Karisa was a resident of Mnarani in Kilifi county, Kenya.
Karisa was the chief officer for Fisheries and Blue Economy.
She was found dead in her room on Thursday morning (July 20, 2023) after quarreling with the maid for spending money beyond the agreed budget while she (Karisa) was away in Italy.
‘The househelp was not happy and she quarrelled with her and stabbed her when she was in bed’, family source said.
Pathologists revealed that the deceased had a deep cut that pierced through the artery and partially the lungs.She bled to death.
The househelp disappeared after the incident. Police have declared the maid wanted.
