The Kira Municipality Member of Parliament, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, has hit back at the Forum For Democratic Change (FDC) Secretary General, Nathan Nandala Mafabi, saying he has no powers to sack him from the position the party whip in Parliament.
Ssemujju Nganda was Tuesday August 8, 2023 responding to the news of his dismissal by Nandala.
Nganda laughed at Nandala, saying he can only be fired by the FDC National Executive Committee that appointed him but not Nandala.
“Amuriat and Nandala have no rlegal mandate to sack me like they’re purporting because they did not appoint me,” said MP Ssemujju.
Nganda, even suspects that Nandala and Amuriat could have been influenced by the NRM to issue the purported dismisal letter.
