Police in Mayuge district are hunting for a yet to be identified man who slept with a female bar attendant and reportedly died after the sexual intercourse. The tragedy happened at the MK bar located in Dwaliro zone in Mayuge Town Council, Mayuge district.
Only identified as Jemima, the 27-year-old woman was found lying on the bed after they had hired a room at the same bar to have the affairs. Jemima, said to have been drunk, was found collapsed by her colleagues in bar when her lover had vanished to thin air.
SSP Diana Nandawula, the police spokesperson of Busoga East regional police, said Jemima breathed her last on the way to Mayuge hospital for treatment.
Nandawula alleged that the man would be having some about the demaise of the deceased whose cause of cause of death remains unanswered.
“We have started looking for unidentified who took off after a sexual intercourse which allegedly led to the death of a one Jemima,” said Nandawula.
She noted that the deceased body is currently at the Mayuge hospital mortuary pending postmortem as investigations into thr matter continue.
She noted that “He should be having some answers and he if got will explain the death of his lover. He secretly stepped out of the room and went away.”
