The Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) Sunday, March 31, 2024, announced the death of their own, Brigadier general Stephen Kigundu, a top and senior officer in the army.
Brigadier General Kigundu has been serving as the deputy commander of the UPDF Air force.
In a press statement released on Sunday evening, the UPDF, through its spokesperson Brigadier General Felix Kulayigye, Kigundu’s health, was very well on the Easter day until he mate the unfortunate fate in the evening.
He reportedly died in the bathroom at his official residence in Entebbe.
“The UPDF fraternity and Uganda People’s Defence Air force will miss Brigadier General Kigundu at this time when his services were most needed to continue strengthening our Air force capabilities,” stated Kulayigye in a statement.
