“Tamale Mirundi to be laid to rest on Sunday,” says Deputy Presidential Press Secretary Hajji Faruk Kirunda

The Deputy Presidential Press Secretary, Hajji Faruk Kirunda has released a detailed burial program for the fallen former Senior Presidential Press Secretary, Joseph Tamale Mirundi.

According to Hajji Kirunda, Tamale will be laid to rest this Sunday, August 18, 2024.

Mirundi passed yesterday from Kisubi Hospital where he had been hospitalised for over a month.

According to Haji Kirunda, there will be a Vigil and mass at the deceased’s Zana Residence on Wednesday 14th August 2024.

“On Thursday 15th August, 2024 there will be a requiem Mass at St. Gyaviira Catholic Church Bunamwaya at 10:00am, then body taken to Zana Residence for Overnight Vigil,” he said.

“And on Friday 16th August , the body will taken to Kyengera Residence for Mass at 10:00am and Overnight Vigil.”

On Saturday 17th August,2024, the body will leave for Kalagala Village in Kaliisizo, Rakai District for Vigil.

“The burial Ceremony will start at 10:00am at Kalagala Village,Kaliisizo in Rakai District on Sunday 18th August,2024.”
