The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has dismissed social media reports claiming that the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results will be released on Friday, February 7, 2025.
In a statement issued on Thursday, February 6, UNEB’s Principal Public Relations Officer, Jennifer Kalule-Musamba, clarified that the circulating information is false.
“It has come to our attention that there is misinformation making rounds on social media platforms regarding the release date for the UCE 2024 results,” the statement reads.
Kalule-Musamba emphasized that the official release date for both the first cohort under the new Lower Secondary Curriculum and the last batch under the old curriculum will be communicated once confirmed.
Although UNEB did not specify a date, the statement suggests that the results could be expected before the end of next week.
The public has been urged to disregard unverified information and await an official announcement from UNEB.
