Police in Jinja District have launched investigations into the brutal murder of an unidentified man whose body was discovered in Mutai Village, Busibe Ward, Kagoma Town Council.

The deceased is believed to have been attacked and killed by unknown assailants before his motorcycle and all identification documents were stolen.

Residents described the killing as horrific, saying the victim appeared to have been “slaughtered like a lamb,” with severe injuries inflicted on his body.

The body was recovered from the scene and taken to the mortuary as detectives commenced investigations to establish the victim’s identity, trace the stolen motorcycle, and hunt for the suspects behind the murder.

Police have appealed to anyone with information that could assist the investigation to report to the nearest police station.
